Madeleines
Classic little French, shell shaped butter cakes. About 2 1/2 inches long; they are lightly flavored with vanilla. These little cakes are the perfect accompaniment to tea, sorbet or fruit desserts; ideal for buffets and Viennese tables. They were selected as a Finalist for the "Outstanding Cookie or Cracker" Category at the 2001 Fancy Food Show.
